Direct report from SoCal desert: I'm about to spend the next ten days at the La Quinta resort in Palm Springs, where I'll speak at VS.NET Connections tomorrow. It's going to be fun. Be sure to say hi to me if you attend this conference!
Unfortunately this also meant that I had to spend yesterday with travelling for 25 hours from my home to Palm Springs. In between, I changed the timezone from CET to PST (9 hours) - that's the bad part - and the average temperature from 30 degrees Fahrenheit (~ 0 Celsius) to 100 Fahrenheit (~ 37 Celcius) - that's the good part which definitely makes up for it ;-).
